Linhart (Palma, 1968)
Cartoonist and illustrator.
I began to publish professionally in the mythical magazine “El Vibora” in 1988.
From then on, I collaborated with “El Cairo”, “Injuve”, “Viñetas”, “Idiota y diminuto”, etc.
In 1994 I began to publish regularly in the children’s magazine “Tretzevents” for which I made several series “Verdi, Birdi y Vinci”, Edmond, La Isla de la Ballena, Villa Valle until the magazine ended in 2011.
For the same publishing house (Publications of L’Abadia de Montserrat) I began to publish illustrated children’s books (El Fanalet de L’Albert Blau, La mujer que atropellava els nens, Res no és el que es, Poemes i cançons de les quatre estacions, Història de Tres reis, El nou món de la Sandy, Roses i Dracs, El caçador de Somnis and more recently El Secret de la Sagrada Família).
Apart from Spain, I have also published in Canada (Drawn and Quarterly), Switzerland (Strapazin), France (Comix 2000), Brazil (Piaui), Mexico (Quadrivio), Argentina (LocoRabia).
I have published the following compilations of my work…
- Fin (editorial Inreves) in 2001 in Spain.
- Del otro Lado (Locorabia editora) in 2015 in Argentina.
Textbooks in several publishing houses (Santillana, SM, Casals, L’abadía…).
